Who will win at Ignite?

Drum roll please. 🥁 We are excited to showcase the achievements of one of our finalists for the Aspire Impact Award at Ignite ‘25.This finalist is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist dedicated to serving his community and clients. He holds leadership roles on the boards of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and is the State Board President for the Landscape Inspectors Association of Florida (LIAF).

Under his guidance as LIAF President, membership has doubled in the last five years, and over 300 members have become Certified Landscape Inspectors. He also helped revise the certification exam in partnership with the UF/IFAS Extension to focus on Florida's plant grading standards. This ensures the correct, high-quality plant material is used to help South Florida's urban forests become more resilient.

Last year, in partnership with the ISA Florida Chapter, he hosted a free tree-pruning education day for property managers and arborists. The event taught attendees about proper tree pruning techniques, helping to promote smarter decisions and improve South Florida’s urban landscape. His mission is to freely share critical information and best practices with his colleagues and clients.
