Has anyone noticed a discrepancy in YTD Total Sales “Won” on the Sales Pipeline dashboard widget vs the YTD Total Sales “Closed” on the Sales Scorecard dashboard widget?  The Sales Scorecard is reporting about 5% more “Closed” sales than the “Won” Sales on the Sales Pipeline.  As best as I can tell it is not a filter issue so wanted to check here to see if anyone has noticed the same thing and/or knows the reason for the discrepancy.  Thank you for your time and consideration!

We noticed this as well, and after talking to our CSM, we learned that Aspire considers “closed” both Won and Lost, because a decision was made so it’s considering any lost sales in the “closed” numbers. This is not very helpful, and unfortunately with the dashboard KPI’s, that’s not something you can customize. We’ve instead just made lists in the Opportunities module that we monitor for each salesperson. We’re hoping for more reasons than just this, that the dashboard KPI/Widgets get more customizable in the future, so we can see the numbers we’re actually looking for.

Thanks for the quick response @cnugent.  That is surprising that lost sales would be counted as closed on the scorecard and makes me wonder how the scorecard could ever be used.  But if that were the case, it still doesn’t make sense for how our numbers are showing.  If the scorecard were counting “lost” sales in our closed total, it should be almost 30% more than the “Won” sales on the pipeline.  As it shows right now it is only about 5% greater.  The mystery continues….
