Does anyone have a solution to the formatting issues that we’re experiencing with copy/paste of default language into Opportunity Proposal Descriptions? We have tried to copy from Google Docs and Microsoft, but both have formatting that doesn’t seem to render well (or consistently) in Aspire.

When you paste it is recommended to paste clean…..this will strip any possible HTML or code in the selection copied to avoid formatting or display issues……  You may still need to make some formatting adjustments in my experience…..

Thanks David! Yeah, we’ve gone that route as well, but still found the lingering formatting issues even with a cleaned copy. I think you might be right that this may be our best option until they manage to develop an improved text editor.

In the toolbar at the top of the text entry there is an icon that looks like “<>” you can check the HTML & reformat what you need to there.

The text editor has been a big source of headaches for us.

We have our default language saved in a proposal template in Aspire. We formatted it once when we set it up and now there are a lot less issues when we copy/ paste from Aspire to Aspire. And yeah, we always paste “clean” also.
