We acquired a Pool Maintenance branch in the Carolinas and have been working to configure Aspire for the unique demands of pool maintenance and service operations. Despite our efforts, our branch manager is still struggling to use the platform efficiently for estimations and day-to-day operations.

We are looking for an experienced Aspire Pool Maintenance company willing to host our branch manager for a few days of hands-on shadowing. The goal is real-world exposure to how an established team uses Aspire effectively for pool maintenance workflows.

If you're open to it, we'd love to connect.

I don’t have any actual advice on this but was curious how long you were using Aspire for other operations before trying to add the pool service in? In my mind, if you have a strong grasp on the system for existing services, adding new ones in would be easier. It too me a lot of trial and error just to get our base services narrowed down and set up correctly as I was too ambitious off the start. Maybe my advice would be to start as simple as possible?

Thanks so much for the response. We have been in aspire for about 9 years or so. I have the other services dialed in, but Pool Maintenance is a beast. I set it up initially based on recommendations from another Aspire User and it was beautiful, but it was too complex for this new branch. As a result, we reconfigured everything to simplify it but they’re still struggling. I think the issue has more to do with buy-in from the branch manager than actual functionality of aspire, which is why we’re trying to find a team that might allow him to shadow for a few days to really help him see the value in using the system how it’s intended. Again, I really appreciate your insights :)

Buy-in is a beast when you're trying to redirect an established team! I definitely feel for you. Fortunately/ unfortunately usually less of an Aspire challenge and more of a culture challenge. You're asking people to let go of old habits and embrace a new way of operating. Maybe brainstorming with them so they feel some ownership in it?

I certainly don't have it all figured out, but I've been through some of those transitions before. Simplicity will help, along with consistently showing the team what's in it for them. Good leadership, repetition, and right person right seat!  Good Luck!
