Live Q&A - Gantt Chart

Yes! The gantt chart will automatically update to reflect the visits on the schedule board at any given moment. You can actually click right on a green "work ticket" bar and select "View Visits" to see a list of the currently scheduled visits for that work ticket. You can also drill into those visits from that list in case you need to update a visits or check details.

I am looking to shuffle my existing Tasks and Issues around on an existing Gant chart, so that it can accurately reflect where I want the tasks/issues/milestones to line up on the chart.

How do I move my newly created milestone to the top of the Gantt Chart and/or move things around?

Currently it looks like I have to recreate a massive list just to make the order appear how the customer wants.

Separately, I was just wondering who uses the gantt charts and loves them? I haven’t used them at all, really.

The activities (tasks, issues, milestones) all appear on the gantt chart according to the opportunity or work ticket they are regarding. That is what determines whether the activity shows up below the opportunity bar or below a work ticket bar. The dates on an activity (start date/due date) determine horizontally along the date grid the activity shows up. Updating the regarding and dates fields are currently the only way to adjust where the item shows up on the gantt chart. Activities can’t be drag and dropped on the gantt chart yet, but that is on our radar!

Can you please add the ability to attach files and detached email chains into the Task/Issues/Milestones Etc. notes box. and could you please look at adding an estimated time for each task. Currently we just put it in the header name.
