Live Q&A - Dynamic Forecasting

Our dynamic forecast is unique in the platform - you’ve probably noticed it looks (and behaves) unlike any of our other reports or lists. It is a powerful computational tool that acts as a live spreadsheet - you can key in numeric values for each forecast tab (revenue, labor hours, material spend) per future month per work ticket. It’s pretty snazzy in that way!

However, there are tradeoffs in engineering; just like none of our other reports or lists support multi-column, multi-row real-time computation, the dynamic forecast does not support filtering beyond the basic search bar at the the top. In creating the forecast, we had to choose between the live computational capacity and the filter/sort/group functionality of our 

Our recommendation is to display the data most useful for search (whether that’s division, or branch, or property) and search using the search bar at the top to filter the forecast tool to a more manageable screen
