  1. I am looking for a list of material once a job is complete to give to a customer.  We would like to give a list of plants to them if they need to call us back about a plant.  Then, the customer will know the name of the exact name of the plant they are looking at.  This will help us streamline when they call into the office.
  1. Does anyone give there customers a report/overview of the hardscape they complete for the customer?
  2. Once we are done with a hardscape project we are trying to market that we can do there landscaping/mowing.  Does anyone else do this and what are your ideas?

Hey! I have a custom estimate summary sheet built for this.

It only shows items that are in the plant categories in my catalog. I removed all of the pricing from it. You could also have it display the hardscape materials if you want  depends on your catalog setup.

Always willing to hop on a call & see if I can help you!

if you already have the takeoff info because you designed the yard, you should be able to quickly pull together a maintenance estimate & send it to them with an introductory letter. A company I worked for before I started my own would do that with good success.

Hi Abbey, I would recommend listing the plant material on the “Proposal Description 1” that way it will show on the invoice sent to the client. The other option is if the Work Order was setup as T&M on Completion you can also list the names of the plants that were purchased by line item on the purchase receipt and that will reflect on the invoice with the total cost detail but if you don’t want the client to know the plant cost then that won’t be the best option.

@Abbey.stetler we market our maintenance services on the last sheet of our proposals. We created a PDF document and then had aspirecare add it as the last page for our templates.

Similarly for our maintenance proposals - we added a last page static “enhancements we offer” page.

I also don’t mind just having the sales guys price the job proactively for the clients. “in case you are interested, here is our proposal for us to start maintaining your property going forward”
