Is there a way to set the Gross Margin (GM%) within an opportunity to default to 30%? Currently, we have to manually adjust certain material prices to maintain at least a 30% GM. I was wondering if there's a setting or configuration that would automatically apply a 30% gross margin by default so we don't have to update each material item individually.

Pricing can be set at the division or service type level in the pricing mark up settings. The same markup % is then used for materials on all services within the division or service type. Markup cannot be varied by item within the same service.

The service has an assigned service type and division which the system uses to identify what markup% is to be used in the estimate to calculate the suggest sale price.

Like David said, pricing and mark up table. You may ask an your CSM if they have a calculator to fill out what your table to achieve the desired margins. This is a huge key to success in aspire.

It’s different for T&M vs fixed price, too. Which one do you do (or both?)?
