Our crews would have an easier time seeing a tomato then reading the word tomato, we want to use them as visual clues

There’s only one way to find out… I will report back this afternoon. My initial bet is that no, because the items are stored as strings not rich text.

@ggrimes Have you considered using the barcodes? Then they don’t have to look for things on their phones just use the cameras. Just an idea.

@ggrimes We;ve also used things like * or $ at the beginning of a name so that teams can just use that symbol to search if they have a limited list of items they frequently use.

I just checked. Aspire replaces emojis with two question marks inside of the system from the item catalog, to the proposals, to aspire mobile. Emojis not currently supported.

When I was in high school I set my iPhone to autocorrect: &shrug; to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I still use it all the time! easily the best ascii art

@ggrimes Our inventory is a dumpster fire, BUT we also did what ​@mhellweg did and added a special symbol on the item name. We can then sort using that symbol. We found @ was not a symbol being used in the siteone sync.
