I have a customer who swears WE set him up on auto pay. We don’t have that ability. But as soon as he gets an invoice, it is paid immediately. Is there an auto pay option on the customer portal that he has activated? If so, how can I remove?

Hi there! No autopay option is available in the customer portal at this time. Is it possible the customer is paying the invoices from the portal manually?


Thank you for your response. The customer called me and said “you are taking money out of my account without my permission”. He received an invoice 4/17/25 and shortly after, we received a payment within minutes. He swears he didn’t do it. He said it happened on his previous invoice too. He is a long time customer and I believe something is happening but I don’t know what. I was hoping he somehow signed up for autopay. I don’t know what to do.

Hmmm. That’s very unusual, but not possible through the portal unless someone is manually submitting a payment - could there be another contact on the property that is submitting payments?


I asked if someone else could be paying, he said no. But I’m going to reach out to his wife. Maybe she is paying and they are not communicating.
