Let's hear about your favorite session at Ignite

What was your favorite session and why? Knowing what resonated most with you—whether it was the speaker's presentation style, the topic's relevance to your work, or a new insight you gained.

My favorite session was Creating Access and Opportunity in the Trades. It’s all about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and has a fair opportunity to succeed. It's a strategic approach to building a stronger, more innovative, and more resilient company. Some highlights of the session were:

  • Foster a Culture of Belonging- It’s all about the culture and creating safe spaces, letting employees share their stories and experiences while focusing on core values.

  • Invest in the proper tools to recruit and attract the right talent- build a welcoming website, use HR tools or even establish an employee referral program.

  • Create a seamless onboarding experience and proactively source candidates from diverse networks and professional organizations.

  • Recognition and appreciation- give your current employees the spotlight by highlighting their achievements.

  • Career growth and development- create leadership opportunities for your employees, and prioritize promoting from within. 🚀

Hi great seeing you and everyone else!

My favorite session was with Megan and Stephanie on the last day… the Aspire champion breakout!  It was simple but created a lot of good deep discussion at round tables with seasoned users and brand-new ones.  I learned some but most importantly felt like i gained a couple peers in that room that I can reach out to in the future to talk through some issues.

I always enjoy the panels as well in other breakouts.

Lastly, I thought the Change Order breakout with Griffin and Chad was very informative and had everyone's full attention.  They answered some challenging questions and the room itself collaborated on resolutions together.

Hope everyone made it home safely, see ya next year!

Briz!

Thanks for starting the chat-I really enjoyed the session on Monday, Good Managers, Make Good Decisions, with Good Information.

Really drove home the point of moving away from the old “gut feeling” decision making style to a data driven approach of decision making.

When to take action-e.g. hiring field techs, buy trucks, equipment, etc. Really utilizing & leveraging the data we have in Aspire to make good decisions driving satisfied clients, employees, and profits.
