In Aspire, there’s a tool that allows you to prepare a Client Budget at the property level. This can be a great conversation starter with your customers during their budgeting process for the upcoming landscape season.

The budget can display:

  • Monthly fees for contracted services (e.g., maintenance, irrigation)

  • A breakdown of proposed work orders entered under the customer’s property

While this feature is powerful, it’s not widely used by Aspire users. I’m looking to connect with a company that uses this tool effectively so we can gather real-life examples and share best practices with the greater Aspire community.

If you or someone on your team is using the Client Budget tool regularly, I’d love to connect.

Hi, we use this tool quite frequently.  We really like to give our customers a budget sheet during renewal season.  We were doing this before we started with Aspire and we stumbled upon the tool after being told by our rep that Aspire didn’t offer anything like this.  lol.  But we started using it last year (our first year), with a few hiccups and this year it’s been working really well.  There are a few thing to keep in mind when using it to make sure that it looks the way we want it to.  We’ve also had a third party helper use the layout report tool and customize it some for us.  Using the Budget Sheet makes renewal season so much nicer and in line with how our customers need to see their budgets/info for the year.

Hello, we have been using the Client Budget feature for years and it is probably one of the leading reasons we have such a high take rate on enhancements.  This is also how we advise the client of the annual renewal cost per month/year.  It allows the client to budget for each project as well as winter services, irrigation turn - on and irrigation seasonal repairs.  In addition, we can add in our projects that we feel fit the property, make it more sustainable, enhance the aesthetic appeal, and conserve water costs.  We are nearly done with all of our budgets for 2026 with some already being returned and approved.  By far one of the most valuable tools to the success of our business.

Amy, thank you for this feedback. I am working on an SOP that will help explain this tool better for all Aspire users. I will reach out to you directly if I need any additional information. I’m so glad this is working well for you and your team!

Hi Doug,

Your input has been extremely helpful, and I really appreciate you taking the time to meet with me. I’m optimistic that the Client Budget tool can become a key asset in our clients’ sales teams’ arsenal.
