If I assign a vendor to an item in an estimate and then create a change order with the same item, do I have to remember the vendor?

You sure don’t! 

 

If you assigned a vendor to an item in the opportunity estimate, then any change orders against that item will retain the vendor! Aspire will assume that the vendor still applies until you actually update the vendor. 

 

And you do not have to perform a change order to update the vendor. If the opportunity has already been won, you can update the vendor from the work ticket materials list OR the purchasing assistant list!
