Hello,

Does anyone else run their lawn care (fertilization and aeration) programs through Aspire and how does this look? The issues we currently have and are trying to find solutions for are:

  1. Building a kit for an application that is a certain price up to 2,000 SF and then increasing by $15 per 1000/SF extra?
  2. Do you recommend setting up each application as different service lines or as one service with multiple occurrences?

We would appreciate any insight! Thank you!

I would have to sit down and play with this but I wonder if you can perhaps setup a template to accomplish this and use takeoff values for the pricing structure along with the proper kits. I will see what I can come up with next time I have a few spare minutes and try to make it make sense

We run our lawncare operations through aspire. There are a few ways to tackle this beast.

  1. One way to accomplish this you would use 2 kits. One would be your base charge (2000sf) and the second would be a kit where the unit is 1000sf and the price is $15. You would have to train you estimators to use this and not put in decimal quantities
    1. Downside to this is that you will not have materials included in the kit which means that they wouldn’t be allocated without typing each item in. This also means that the chemical usage report wouldn’t work great (which, in my opinion, it already doesn’t...)
  2. If you are including materials, and they are different in each service, then you would set up different services. If you want to make scheduling easier, you would have one service line and estimate as recommended in the first.

I’d love to chat with you about this.

Thank you both so much!

That first option sounds like a great solution. I will test it out, but I would still love to connect after the holiday for any questions I have. I will send you a message through LinkedIn.
