Who uses Inova for their payroll and also pays their employees a premium per hour for snow removal?  I’d like to connect with you because we’re having an issue with the Snow Override Pay Code amount for OT hours flowing to Inova, so I want to learn how companies make this work.

For clarification, we pay a higher wage when an employee does snow removal and any hours that they work over 40 hours/week are paid at overtime rate.  For the hours over 40 that are worked on snow removal, they get 1.5 times their snow pay rate.  For the hours over 40 that are worked on non-snow removal services, they get 1.5 times their normal rate of pay.  Our pivot report in Aspire calculates this perfectly.  When it pulls over to Inova, it’s taking the snow removal OT hours and paying them at their snow rate instead of 1.5 times their snow rate.

We also use Inova for our payroll system and we are having the same issues with premium pay codes. We have a construction premium code and a construction premium OT code. Everything syncs to Inova as the construction premium code and nothing syncs as construction premium OT even if the code is used. Also if the employee works a  non premium job in the same week as the premium and works over 40 hours the regular time syncs as regular OT. If anyone has some insight please reach out/
