How to stop text changing size in opportunity descriptions
In the Aspire opportunity proposal descriptions, and in emails the text changes size when I delete text and type.
Whenever I delete a block of text, the font resizes to 8 pt which I can barely read. But it’s inconvenient to resize over and over so I just live with tiny font until the documents are finished, or resize regularly.
So, I’m selecting all and setting the font size constantly if I want to be able to read the text.
What is that, and what can I do please?

Hi @Green Guy- is it changing in Aspire UI or is it changing in the actual proposal layout? Are you able to send some pictures for me to take a look at?
In the Aspire UI, under Opportunity, proposal descriptions, rich text editor the text size changes when I delete, or cut lines, or start new lines with the Enter key. Also, entire blocks of text are deleted when I select text, instead of the selected text.
In addition, if I have bullet lists created in the Aspire UI proposal description, and I go to delete lines, the Aspire UI sends my cursor to the top of the document and deletes lines there instead.
Side note,… Inserting <br> doesn’t seem to create page breaks either, as seen in the knowledge base article. I can use a template in MS Word to approximate the page sizes of the Aspire proposal PDFs. However, if I would like a new page to start at a certain point on the Aspire proposal I press Enter until I approximate the page size, then save and print, and change the spaces again over and over until the pages are in order.
Text size changes and all of the UI hurdles that I listed are reflected in actual proposal layouts. If our team should correct all of this in the HTML editor before sending proposals then it would be nice to be able to insert page breaks.
Here is how I would like the text to look:
But if I press Enter, and start a new line above the proposal description, it is in 8 pt font:
And, if I delete the words Proposal Description, and retype them they will be in 8 pt font, and no longer bold:
Then, if I cut and paste the large text back into the same place as plain text, it will be 8 pt:
I can edit HTML, but if I set text size, the bug continues in the text editor.
And if I try to insert a page break, nothing happens, as seen in the Knowledge article that you showed me:
The font in your screen shots is set to Arial 8 pt. Did you try to change this under Configuration on the Administration screen? This should set the default font.
I see. Thank you. I don’t have an administrator’s screen.
Are you saying that whatever the administrator’s default font size is, then the font size will revert to that no matter what I choose in my rich text editor?
I think so. Ask your administrator to change the font and see if that makes a difference.
All of my tests show that deleting a line resets the text size box to the default size.
