What metrics is everyone posting for the field staff to see daily? This season we got monitors up in the shop to display schedules and allow account managers to dive into work tickets with team leaders. We would now like to start posting dials on the dashboard for each crew to be able to have a measurable to look at every day.
Labor efficiency and gm% for all tickets completed. Same for wip construction (possibly Mt or enh depending on size) from work ticket visit report. Doing a weekly average report every week for all completed work.last and making a friendly competition for crew of the week. Others optional to drive corrections of "problems" - Warranty hrs/ratio, Drive hrs/ratio, OT hrs, issues related to crew quality or action
Do you show the labor efficiency and gm% in the weekly filter or daily? If daily is it the day prior?
You can do either or both....I think daily is to much sometimes.....you me it really depends on the type of work and education/training of the crews to consume the reported metrics.
Ok so Im looking for some clarity here. We have made work ticket lists for each crew that have the following in the filter: 1. Crew Leader 2. completed date- this week. In the display we have it showing the hours efficiency for each job and then averaged them to get a total. When we build a gauge it will show 0% until time is approved Tuesday morning.
- Is this how you are showing your crews their labor efficiency?
- How do you keep them up to date each day with WIP tickets that stretch over weeks or months before they are completed?
