Yesterday we canceled a contract where all work tickets were in an open status. It showed canceled in the opp status box but all the work tickets remained open and ready to schedule.

Why would the system not cancel all of the work tickets?
It will only cancel tickets with a Scheduled Start Date on or after the cancellation date…...The assumption is any tickets for work to be performed prior to the cancel date remain in open or scheduled status to allow completion. All tickets after the cancel date are cancelled….It is best practice to confirm all tickets expected are cancelled by reviewing the Opp ticket list when cancelling a contract.
