I am thinking about switching to Azuga from Verizon Connect for dash cameras, GPS, and fleet maintenance. So far their customer service has been awful. I have tried for 2 months to get a demo so this makes me nervous. Has anyone had experience with them? Any good experiences or not so good experiences welcomed! Thanks in advance!

Hey @M.Coastal - this is an older post but maybe it shares some good information! 😊

I met with a rep from aspire to go over this because we loved the idea of the integration with aspire. I am not sure what verizon costs but our provider (OneStepGPS) works great and is significantly cheaper. We pay roughly $15/month per device and I believe a $50 initial cost when sending the device. Our contract is also month to month where as Azugas is a 3 year contract. I thought that was alarming. The costs that I wrote down per vehicle was $69.99 with the camera and Tracker. The cost for the trackers alone was $23.99. I really liked the idea and the features were nice and we may have even given it a shot if it was not for the three year contract. We also tried to get a test unit to see how everything worked and they said they do not do that anymore so that was another turn off. Hope this helps.

Azuga 2.0 is horrible compared to the original fleet management they originally had. A lot of really cool features are no longer a thing.

Now i will say that we do not use the cameras for azuga but just the gps feature.

I have found that Azuga has been very helpful for us. We are using vehicle trackers alone (no dashcams). To JRosado’s point on Azuga 2.0, I have found the UI to be cleaner, but there are a few features that I miss about the old UI. With regards to a demo, I would recommend starting with your Aspire CSM or Integration Manager. I have found that they have a better pipeline to get you help from Azuga, and this has also been the best way to get support. It is unfortunate that it takes that liaison, but definitely a feather in the cap of Aspire for providing the conduit for getting answers and support from Azuga.
