I have a customer who wants the PO added into here invoice each month. The invoice is sent on the 1st of each month. When received, she will send the PO asking me to resend with the PO added. How do I get that added? She just wants it somewhere on the invoice, doesn’t matter where.
Thank you

@sylviap There is a data field in the Invoice Information icon. Click the little paper icon to open the invoice data fields.
From within there you would enter Customer PO # (on right side of the Invoice Information Data form). You must also have this field in your invoice layout of Web Report Designer for it to print on the invoice.
We added our field to the Description area of our invoice.
I hope this helps.
@sylviap I should have said the invoice Data Icon is found on the opportunity details page
Thank you, I added and sent. But the PO will be different each month. So, I will have to enter PO, send to customer, go back in and remove, otherwise it will print same PO on each invoice. I’m sure I fill forget, cause headaches for the customer and yelling at me. It would be a lot less steps to add a note into the invoice each month. Maybe at the end of the items PO#11111. Is that possible?
@sylviap I mis-understood what you had asked for.
If you have the POs upfront for each month, once you create your invoices, pause, go into the invoice before completing the batch and add the PO to the description and save it. Then go back to batches and complete the batch.
If you have to have the invoice to get the PO, I would ask if the draft version of the invoice can work for the customer to create the PO. Send the customer the draft, then you can go into the invoice and add the po to the description before completing the batch. This way would save that description on the invoice in Aspire. This would also likely be best to do in a batch by itself so not to hold up the rest of the batch being processed. Do it first and you may have the PO by the time you get through all your other batches.
sounds good! I’ll give it a try. Thanks so much for your help
